Bridal Alterations

For your free alteration consultation, we ask you to plan for your fitting to be 30-45 minutes long. If you plan to bring guests, we advise to bring no more than 3 guests and have them understand your vision prior to your appointment.

We recommend planning for at least a 3-4 month timeline for your alterations to be perfected. If you need them done within a couple days or weeks, please call us at 702-476-1641 at your earliest convenience so we can squeeze you in as soon as possible. Please know rushed alterations have a rush fee, but it ensures you are placed ahead in our queue.

All of our brides have three fittings with our Bridal Tailor. The first fitting she will make recommendations, give you pricing, then pin the necessary changes on your dress. For your second fitting, your dress will be modified but not cut yet. Once you approve the changes, the dress will be cut and finalized for your final fitting. At your final fitting, expect your dress to fit you like a glove! It’s rare for us to have a fourth fitting, but if any changes are needed on the alterations we provided, we will take care of them as quickly as possible.

FAQs 

Can you share pricing over the phone or through message? How much are alterations?

No, as our Bridal Tailor needs to see the gown in person to be able to determine the alterations needed and the complexity of your dress. We recommend scheduling a free consultation with them to discuss your vision. The cost of your alterations will be based off of the complexity of your wedding gown. We strive to make the wedding gown perfect for you all while staying within your budget. We will also make recommendations on where to improve the overall fit and discuss pricing before we start pinning your dress.

Do I need to bring the shoes I’ll wear with my wedding dress / suit / other garments?

Absolutely! We cannot work on your garment’s hem if you don’t have the shoes you’ll be wearing the day of your event. Not having your shoes wastes all of our time and delays your fittings. If you change your shoes after our initial fitting, you will be charged an additional hem fee as we will have to redo our hem for the new height of your shoes. If you are okay with the length discrepancy, we will leave the hem as is and finish it.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final on services rendered and items sold.

My wedding is in a couple days / weeks, can you do my alterations?

Yes, absolutely! We guarantee to complete your alterations before your big day, though there is a rush fee to ensure we put you ahead of our queue.

I bought my dress somewhere else, can you still do my alterations?

Yes! Whether you bought it through us or somewhere else, we are more than happy to alter it for you.

What do I need to do to prepare for my first fitting?

We ask that you reserve an hour for your fitting and thirty minutes for each bridesmaids. You must bring your desired undergarments and shoes to every fitting, as this will help us ensure a perfect fit.

We will take the time to address any fit concerns and pin your gown to reveal what the finished look will be. If you have a long train, we will show you different bustle options.

Lastly, we will discuss recommended alterations, review overall costs, and address your budget. If you agree to the alterations, you will pay for them at your first fitting and schedule your second fitting.

Do you only do bridal alterations or can you also take care of my bridal party?

We specialize in bridal alterations but can do any alteration for any of your loved ones – even men’s suiting!
