Flor de Liz co-founded Altered Bride in Las Vegas, NV, in 2023 alongside her husband of 12 years, Jack-Peter. Her mission is to provide every bride with a personalized, intimate, and unforgettable experience. With a warm and inviting energy, she goes above and beyond to ensure each bride feels comfortable, confident, and celebrated from the moment they walk through the doors.
Beyond overseeing day-to-day operations, Flor de Liz shapes the overall vision of Altered Bride and plays an active role in helping brides find their perfect dress. With a B.A. in Fashion Design, she brings a trained eye for style, offering expert guidance on silhouettes, fabrics, and alterations to ensure every gown is a flawless fit.
The inspiration for Altered Bride came to Flor de Liz in the middle of a dream — an undeniable feeling that she needed to create a bridal boutique unlike any other. Trusting her intuition, she brought her vision to life the very next day. Jack-Peter, or J.P. as many know him, co-founded Altered Bride in Las Vegas, NV, with his wife, Flor de Liz. With over a decade of experience in the fashion industry, he brings a rare blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and genuine care to every client experience.
As the friendly voice on the phone and the engine behind Altered Bride’s operations, J.P. ensures everything runs smoothly while also spearheading marketing and design. His talents extend beyond business—his expertise in photography, videography, illustration, and leatherwork add a unique, artistic touch to the salon.
J.P.’s passion for leather crafting shines through in his bespoke creations, from hand-stitched bridal accessories to custom corsets and harnesses that elevate wedding attire. Liliana brings over 30 years of mastery in tailoring and sample-making, making her one of the most sought-after artisans in Las Vegas. A true expert in her craft, she has spent decades perfecting garments from the inside out—combining technical precision with an intuitive understanding of fit, structure, and movement.
Before joining Altered Bride, Liliana built an impressive career as a sample maker in Los Angeles, CA, constructing garments entirely from scratch and collaborating closely with pattern makers to refine both construction and fit. She played a pivotal role in developing our women’s wear line named, Flor De Liz Guior, communicating nuanced adjustments that elevated each piece to its highest potential—an expertise that seamlessly translates into her bridal work.
Equally skilled in men’s suiting, Liliana is exceptionally trained in tailoring structured garments and can confidently alter everything from a classic men’s suit to the most intricate couture bridal gown. From precision fitting to complex customizations, there is truly no request beyond her ability.
